School district redistricting for 2027-2028
The school district will move fewer than 250 of its 8,000+ students to new schools starting in 2027-28, mostly affecting Lincoln Elementary and Middle School South due to overcapacity. That's about a quarter of the students affected in the last redistricting.
Middle School West gymnasium addition
Gahanna Middle School West gets a 14,215-square-foot gym and locker rooms starting this summer. The catch: the tennis courts are going away to make room, though basketball hoops and playground space will be re-added. Two years of construction with fencing around the work area while school is in session.
